Kelli Klymenko is a multidisciplinary artist, photographer, and writer based in Sedona, Arizona. His work blends visual storytelling with a deep reverence for nature, science, and the human experience. Known for his distinctive eye and versatile approach, Kelli creates imagery across multiple tools and formats — from expansive landscape photography to intimate, expressive mobile work. His images have appeared in national campaigns, major tourism publications, and the Getty Images collection.
Throughout Sedona, Kelli’s photography has quietly become part of the region’s visual identity — appearing on dozens of magazine covers, visitor guides, and regional publications. His short film for the Sedona Chamber of Commerce, created in 2014–2015, is still used today and continues to greet visitors on the VisitSedona.com homepage.
Kelli studied at Parsons School of Design, developing a strong foundation in art, design, and creative communication. His creative practice explores themes of environmental consciousness, cosmic wonder, and personal reflection across digital art, photography, and written work.
A longtime advocate for climate action, Kelli partners with Global Green on the Global Green Signature Bracelet campaign, using imagery and storytelling to support climate resilience and community rebuilding.
Kelli has served as Marketing Director for Sedona Arts Center since 2010, where he has led the design and branding of over 34 catalogs and major campaigns, shaped the organization’s visual identity, and supported hundreds of regional artists. He also teaches at Sedona Arts Center, where his long-running iPhoneography Workshop has inspired students for nearly a decade. In addition, he offers courses in Marketing for Artists and has contributed to the Sedona Entrepreneurial Artists Development Program, a USDA Rural Development initiative. He is well known throughout the regional arts community for his creative leadership and commitment to supporting artists and arts organizations.
Kelli’s earlier work includes owning a popular East Coast shop called Spellbound, known for its handcrafted incense, essential oil blends, and a progressive philosophy rooted in critical thinking and personal empowerment. The creative approach he developed there continues today through his family-run business, the Sedona Incense Company, where he and his family craft small-batch incense, wearable oils, and aromatherapy blends.
Today, Kelli continues to create and share work that reflects clarity, wonder, and a commitment to connection. His writing and photography invite people to look closer — at the world, at each other, and at the stories that move us.
